Summary

Congratulations for making it this far. We've covered a lot in this chapter, starting with looking at how to set up Unity for HoloLens development. We then stepped through building a complete game, looking at the major building blocks of a HoloLens app in Unity, including spatial mapping, gaze, and gestures.

In the next chapter, we will rebuild this project, but leveraging Microsoft's open source library, HoloToolkit-Unity, to accelerate development. We will also take our project further by looking at a technique for automatically placing holograms (our bin).
