Dial-In Conferencing Features

Lync Server also provides many improvements to the dial-in conferencing features, including

The Lobby—If a dial-in user is required to authenticate and does not, he no longer needs to disconnect and retry. Users in this situation are now transferred to The Lobby. This gives the organizer of the call the ability to either accept or reject callers who do not authenticate. If callers stay in The Lobby past a configurable time, they are timed out and disconnected.

Recorded names for anonymous callers—Users who are not authenticated are now prompted to record their names. This enables the organizer of the conference to determine who is on the call. That said, the name recorded is whatever the caller chooses to say. ...
