Persistent Chat

New to the Lync 2013 client is the Persistent Chat feature, which was previously an entirely separate application called Group Chat. The two products are now tightly integrated, with Persistent Chat rooms becoming a tab within the main Lync client. If a user is not enabled for Persistent Chat, that user does not see the tab.
