Chapter 26. Newsgroups

Internet newsgroups (sometimes called Usenet newsgroups) are like computerized public bulletin boards. There are tens of thousands of newsgroups on the Internet, each focused on a particular topic. Messages (or posts)—resembling email messages—are posted to newsgroups. Anyone with access to the newsgroup can read them. If you respond to a message you’ve read, your reply is posted along with it. Like email messages, some newsgroup posts contain attachments that you can download.

Using Entourage 2008, you can subscribe to, read, and post to newsgroups. Just as you can manage multiple email accounts with Entourage, you can manage accounts on multiple news servers, too.
