Chapter 31. Office 2008 and the Internet

In addition to using Entourage to handle email and newsgroup activities, Office has features that let you tap into the power of the Internet. This chapter shows you how to incorporate Internet links (called hyperlinks) in your documents, so you can direct readers to the Web to see a graphic, hear an audio file, or read additional information on a topic. For example, a Word letter about your summer vacation could contain a link to a Web site where you’ve posted pictures.

You’ll also learn to perform these Internetrelated activities:

  1. Without leaving Word, Excel, or PowerPoint, send the current document in email.

  2. Save any Office document or your Entourage calendar in HTML format so you can publish it on the Web. ...
