26. Using the Journal and Notes

Outlook not only helps you manage emails, contacts, and tasks, it can also assist you in developing an “informational trail” related to your interactions with your contacts as well as work that you do in the other Office applications, such as Word or Excel. The Journal can help record a timeline of important interactions with your contacts including emails, assigned tasks, or meeting requests related to contacts. It can also help you keep track of when you created documents or other files in your Office applications.
