Chapter 8. Protecting, Saving, and Printing
After you complete the work of entering, analyzing, charting, and formatting your data, you can share it with others. Sharing data generally means saving it and then sharing either the file or the printout.
The tips in this chapter make it easier to share your work with others. The chapter starts by teaching you how to protect your worksheet so others can view and print it but cannot make changes to it. Next, you learn how to save a workbook as a template. By saving a workbook as a template, you eliminate the chore of re-creating a special-purpose worksheet each time you need to use it.
