With an Office 365 subscription, you can use the Office for iPad apps to create documents. Of course, you can always create documents from scratch, using a blank canvas (see Chapter 4), but Microsoft makes between 14 and 20 templates available to you inside the Word, Excel, and PowerPoint apps. A template is a premade document that serves as a starting point for your own document. It usually contains placeholder information that you replace with your own content.
