Handling Junk Mail

Just like the junk mail that you receive in your postal mailbox, you probably get too many junk e-mail messages (also known as spam) in your Outlook Inbox. Outlook makes it easy to set up mail filters that can sort your incoming mail so that junk mail is moved to its own folder, flagged, or deleted. Outlook also allows you to turn on mail filters so only specific messages are displayed in the Inbox.

Turn on Junk E-Mail Filters

  1. Choose Options from the Tools menu.
