Defining Enterprise Project Management

Enterprise Project Management (EPM) is more than just technology; it is a way of doing business, and it affects organizational structure and behavior. Although EPM is a relatively new discipline, many organizations around the world have adopted EPM best practices. In 2004, the Project Management Institute (PMI) released a new standard called the Organizational Project Management Maturity Model (OPM3).
