Sometimes a regular list just doesn’t do the job for you. If you want a list within a list (called a nested list), or if you need to classify the relationship of items by listing them under specific categories, you can quickly and easily create a multilevel list.
Start typing the first line of your list.
On the Home tab, click either the Numbering or the Bullets button to format the type of list you want.
Continue creating the list of items that are all at the same level.
