Proofreading in Another Language
Word speaks many languages. Using the Microsoft Office language tools, Word can automatically identify which paragraphs are in which language. With the proper dictionaries and the spelling and grammar checkers installed, Word can check a multilingual document, using the correct proofing tools for each language. If your document contains only a few scattered words in another language, you can identify those words as being in another language so that they’ll be checked correctly. If the proofing tools for a particular language aren’t installed, you can identify the words in that language to Word and it will skip them to avoid adding unnecessary spelling and grammar squiggles to the document.
