Chapter 8. Special Word Techniques
To make working with and printing documents easy and efficient, Word provides a variety of special capabilities and tools. Features such as AutoCorrect, AutoText, automatic envelope printing, and mail merge take much of the drudgery out of ordinary tasks. Templates also help by providing stock formats for routine documents.
Automatically Correcting Typos
Word’s AutoCorrect feature works quietly behind the scenes, automatically correcting many common typos as you type. It has its own short list of common misspellings and their corrections; you can add your own most frequent typos to this list.
