7.4. KPI Design and Configuration

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) are actually the original reason that Microsoft first published a scorecard product (Business Scorecard Manager). And although KPIs can be displayed in a stand-alone manner through SharePoint, they provide a more compelling presentation when grouped in a scorecard, perhaps by business processes under headings such as Revenue or Employee metrics.
