3.2. Opening an Excel 2003 Spreadsheet in Excel 2007

Figure 3-1 shows a real-world spreadsheet from a schoolteacher who tracks student reading levels and overall achievement scores. In this case, we have previous and current reading and full-scale scores, which is a simple representation of a year-to-year business process. The spreadsheet is not overly complex because it is from the real world of spreadsheets, and we're going to see how it can be enhanced with the business intelligence tools in Excel 2007.
