PowerPoint 2007 enjoys integration with Excel 2007 that brings the power of Excel charts directly into our PowerPoint design environment. Not surprisingly, this brings up Excel 2007 on our desktop to give us the user interface of Excel for chart design and manipulation. In fact, Excel actually provides the charting engine for PowerPoint, and when you are working with the data, you are working with a real Excel spreadsheet!
Click the Insert tab on the Ribbon menu.
Click the Chart icon in the Illustrations menu group.
Choose a Chart type.
