Alert Management

The Alert Management solution is part of the Insights and Analytics/Log Analytics solution offering. The solution helps you analyze all the alerts collected for your Log Analytics workspace. The solution supports the following alerts:

Alerts created by Log Analytics through alert rules
Alerts imported from connected SCOM management groups
Alerts imported from Zabbix and Nagios

Once alert data is stored in the OMS repository, the solution will work with any records of type Alert. Review Chapter 3, Managing Alerts in OMS, for details on creating alert rules for Log Analytics alerts, integrating SCOM with OMS, and configuring Nagios and Zabbix servers to send alerts to Log Analytics.
