Configure data sources for the on-premises data gateway

Identify the server name and database name used in the Power BI Desktop file.
Identify the full path of the Excel file.
In the Power BI Service, click on the Gear icon in the top right corner and select Manage Gateways.

From the Manage Gateways interface, click on Add Data Source and choose SQL Server.
Provide an intuitive source name that won't conflict with other sources and enter the server and database names.
