UI Flows

In Chapter 12, Power Automate flows, you learned how to create automations using connectors. UI flows are for automations where there is no connector or API available to use. There are many legacy applications that do not have a method for accessing their data or functionality except through their user interface. UI flows use Robotic Process Automation (RPA) techniques to automate user actions on these legacy applications.

UI flows is the name of the RPA functionality in Power Automate. This chapter describes how to create and run UI flows. By using UI flows, you can create automations that span modern and legacy applications.

The following topics will be covered in this chapter:

  • Introducing UI flows
  • Recording business tasks
