IN THIS CHAPTER

Bullet Creating a Sprints Project

Bullet Organizing sprints

Bullet Agile views

Bullet Sprint planning

Bullet Customizing Sprints Projects

The way we manage projects has progressed to include approaches for both plan-driven projects with defined scope and adaptive projects where the scope can evolve along the way. Project can support both approaches. In fact, it is so versatile that it can support hybrid projects that use plan-driven and adaptive approaches on the same project.

In this chapter you learn how to set up an adaptive project using sprints. You learn about several different views that Project has to help you plan Sprints Projects. It also covers customizing the content you see on the Task Board. If you are new to Sprints Projects, some of the terminology and the methods used to plan and track projects will be unfamiliar, but the chapter takes it one step at a time and eases you into this whole new way to work on projects.
