Installing FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint
FAST Search Server 2010 for SharePoint can be added as an additional component of the SharePoint 2010 farm. It can contain one or more FAST admin servers, responsible for running administrative services of FAST Search Server or one or more nonadmin servers. The nonadmin servers connect to the admin server in multiserver deployments, and run nonadmin services such as query matching, indexing, and document processing.
