Excel Services is a shared service application within SharePoint 2010 that allows for the sharing and presentation of Excel spreadsheets and workbooks within SharePoint via the web browser. Excel Services was first introduced in Microsoft Office SharePoint Server 2007 and continues to evolve within the 2010 platform.
