Creating a chart using the PerformancePoint Dashboard Designer

PerformancePoint Services provides the ability to create a wide range of charts, KPIs, scorecards, and filters, and integrate them all together in a dashboard. In this recipe we learn how to use the Dashboard Designer tool to create and deploy an Analytic Chart to a SharePoint page.

Getting ready

This recipe works for:

  • SharePoint 2010 Enterprise Edition

You will need SharePoint 2010 Enterprise with PerformancePoint Services configured. You will require a SharePoint site created from the Business Intelligence Centre template.
