Installing a FAB40 Application Template in SharePoint 2010
Even if you are not intending to upgrade an existing site template, you can still install a FAB40 site template on a SharePoint 2010 server. Just to reiterate, by FAB40, we refer to those site templates made available by Microsoft for SharePoint 2007 deployments. At the time of writing this book, Microsoft has not made provision to upgrade those site templates for SharePoint 2010 deployments.
