Creating a New Wiki Page Library with Multiple Content Types
By default, Wiki Page libraries, such as the Site Pages library, only include a single content type, namely the Wiki Page content type, which supports creating new Wiki pages. However, when creating pages in a Wiki Page library in SharePoint Designer, you have the added option of creating new Web part pages. In this case, you might want to add the Web part page content type to the Wiki Page library to define and type any Web Part pages added to the library and differentiate them from the default Wiki page.
