Common Problems Encountered when Accessing Data Sources

This section summarizes some of the most commonly encountered issues when configuring data sources and situations that you should consider at the outset of configuring data sources:

• If attempting to access data sources between different Web applications and across separate ports then you need to test because this is not a supported scenario.
