Customizing XLV Pages

Ordinarily, when working with XLVs, you edit the XLV page in normal mode rather than advanced mode, which can lead to customizing a page (see Chapter 11, “Understanding SharePoint Designer Editing Features,” for a discussion on customizing SharePoint pages). If, in the case of customizing a view page, you choose to revert the page to its site definition, you end up with two copies of the page, which results in two copies of the same view shown in the Web interface. You need to delete, or move, the customized version of the page.
