For those reading this chapter who are unfamiliar with InfoPath, InfoPath is Microsoft’s rich form product, which enables you to quickly design and deploy XML-based forms to accommodate business processes, such as workflows. Over the past few years, InfoPath has gathered rapid momentum in terms of SharePoint integration due to its ease of deployment and access and also due to the fact that you can access forms via the browser without the need for local installation of the InfoPath client.
