While this book is geared toward getting a solid understanding of Microsoft SharePoint Premium, it would be a disservice to that technology to limit all of our discussions to it alone. At its core, SharePoint Premium is, after all, another tool in the artificial intelligence toolbox, and as such, there are a lot of other technologies that can be used in conjunction with SharePoint Premium to make it even better and even more powerful.
One such technology is Azure Cognitive Services. Cognitive Services is amazing on its own and deserves its own book (and there are plenty out there to read on the subject). This chapter will try to introduce the technology enough for you to understand what it is and how it can enhance SharePoint Premium.
