Using Keywords and Best Bets to Mark Relevant Items

Keywords are used to mark items as more likely to match what the user intended to find. Keywords also provide a way to link a word or phrase to a document when that word or phrase is not contained within the document. For example, a document that contains monthly sales revenue figures could have the keywords “Monthly Financial Results” attached to it so that when a search is performed on “Monthly Financial Results,” the sales revenue document will be returned in the results.
