Once we have the proper foundation in place, we can build a tailored software-driven high availability solution much more easily and “match” one or more high availability options to YOUR requirements. Remember, different high availability solutions will yield different results. The focus of this book will be on the Microsoft offerings since they are potentially already available in your company's software stack.
