What’s New in SSMS
SSMS in SQL Server 2014 is essentially the same as it was in SQL Server 2012. There are, however, some features such as memory-optimized tables that are new to SQL Server 2014 and are accessible from SSMS. These new features are not covered in this chapter. They are covered in detail in other chapters in this book that are related to them. For example, refer to Chapter 33, “In-Memory Optimization and the Buffer Pool Extension,” for a detailed discussion of memory-optimized tables.
