I use a couple of learning platforms, but I'm on O'Reilly more than anybody else. When you're there, you start learning. I'm never disappointed.I'm always learning. So when I got on to O'Reilly, I was like a kid in a candy store. There are playlists. There are answers. There's on-demand training. It's worth its weight in gold, in terms of what it allows me to do.
Installing Service Packs and Cumulative Updates
After the official release of a product, Microsoft will occasionally release updates to the product as either service packs or cumulative updates. It is highly recommended that you apply SQL Server services packs when they become available because they often contain critical fixes to the product and sometimes new or enhanced features. You should especially consider applying the latest services pack when performing a new SQL Server installation. As of this writing, no service packs are yet available for SQL Server 2014.
