The features and methods available for creating and managing triggers are essentially the same in SQL Server 2014 as all previous versions since SQL Server 2005. The upside to this is that you can take the knowledge and skills that you may already have with triggers and apply them directly to SQL Server 2014.
One notable addition to the list of deprecated features in 2014 is the ability to return result sets from triggers. The capability will be removed in the next version of SQL Server. Microsoft has indicated that there will be no replacement for this feature.
