Getting to know the MDS environment and capabilities can be a bit overwhelming. For this reason, we have provided an Excel file (.csv) that contains a Sales Territory model (SALES_TERRITORY.csv). You can find this on the book’s website (under this chapter’s material). We will set out to achieve three primary goals:
To understand a typical model within MDS
To use the MDS manager web-based UI to define and manage an MDS model (the Sales Territory model)
