Using the Wizard to Create a Cube

The Cube Wizard guides you through the process of selecting the fact table data and the dimensions that you bring together into a cube. In the Cube Wizard, you select a data source view. All of the fact and dimension tables for the cube must be in that data source view. You then identify the fact table columns that will be used to create measures in the cube. For each fact table, the wizard will create a measure group that contains the measures created from the columns in the table. In each measure group, you can also create a measure that counts the number of rows in the fact table.
