Deployment Using Business Intelligence Development Studio

This section will take a look at how Analysis Services databases are deployed using Business Intelligence Development Studio. It will also look at the commands sent to the Analysis Services server during the deployment process.

Explore the project’s deployment properties

  1. Use BIDS to open the AdventureWorks BI Solution contained in the C:\Microsoft Press\Analysis Services 2008 SBS\Chapter 15\AdventureWorks BI folder.
