Configuring SharePoint Integrated Mode
As you learned in Chapter 1, you can integrate Reporting Services with Windows SharePoint Services 3.0 or Office SharePoint Server 2007. Regardless of the deployment topology that you choose to implement to integrate these technologies, you must configure the report server for SharePoint integrated mode, install an add-in component for SharePoint, and configure SharePoint for integration with Reporting Services. The order of installation of Reporting Services and SharePoint doesn’t matter, but you must follow the configuration steps in sequence as described in this section.
