Chapter 27. Working with subscriptions
Rather than require users to connect to the report server to view reports, you can use Reporting Services to send reports to users via email or to a network folder. If you’re running a report server in SharePoint integrated mode, you can also send reports to a Microsoft SharePoint document library. Regardless of which delivery method you use, you can send a report in any rendering format so that users can get reports when they want them and in the file type they want. Furthermore, you can send the subscription on a recurring schedule that you define for the report server and that can serve multiple uses (including snapshots) or that can be solely for a single report subscription.
