Chapter 29. Reusing report parts

Report parts were first introduced in SQL Server 2008 R2 as another option to support self-service reporting for business users. Rather than require users to learn how to build a table or matrix, you can instead deploy these report items, among others, as independent items called report parts. Users can then construct reports with these ready-made report parts, and can even adapt them as needed.
