Using the Enterprise Manager to Perform Common Tasks
The following sections provide brief descriptions of how to perform common administration tasks from the SQL Server Enterprise Manager. Many of these tasks are explained in greater detail in other sections of this book.
Manage Server Configurations
Follow these steps to configure a server:

From the SQL Server Enterprise Manager, right-click the server you want to configure.

From the menu, select the Properties menu option. The SQL Server Properties dialog box appears (see Figure 6.16). From this dialog box, you can configure server options by selecting the corresponding tab.
