Automating the Processing of a Database
For most OLAP databases, updating the cubes with new values is a routine process that must be performed on a regular basis—monthly, weekly, nightly, or even hourly. Analysis Manager doesn’t provide any direct tools for automating the processing of databases. Manually carrying out routine tasks—particularly if you’ll be incrementally updating dimensions and cubes—can be an extremely tedious assignment.
