As we were ready to wrap up editing of this book, Microsoft released Service Pack 1 (SP1) for SQL Server 2008 and a couple of additional cumulative updates. The impact of SP1 on SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) is relatively small.
What’s New in SP1?
For the Reporting Services developers and users, SQL Server 2008 SP1 delivers bug fixes and support for Report Builder 2.0 click-once deployment. Chapter 37, “Ad Hoc Reporting in SharePoint,” briefly mentions SP1 updates for Report Builder 2.0, and this appendix expands on that information.
