Creating a Complex Application
To configure Microsoft Office 2010 as a Configuration Manager 2012 application, execute the following steps:
1. Launch the Configuration Manager 2012 console.
2. Choose the Software Library space, expand Application Management, and select the Applications node.
3. Right-click on the Applications node and select Create Application.
4. Select the Manually Specify the Application Information option button and click Next.
5. Enter Office 2010 for the Name.
6. Enter Microsoft for the Manufacturer.
7. Enter 14.0.4763.1000 for the Software Version.
8. Click Next.
9. In the Application Catalog section, leave the defaults and click Next.
10. In Deployment Types, click the Add button to add a new deployment type.
