Creating MDT Task Sequences
With MDT installed, integrated with Configuration Manager, and the boot image prepared, the system is now ready to create MDT task sequences.
Note
The first time task sequences are created in MDT, a couple of extra packages are also created. This includes the MDT Files and the MDT Settings package. The MDT Task Sequence wizard will guide the process and it only needs to be done once.
To create an MDT task sequence, execute the following steps:
1. Launch the Configuration Manager console and select the Software Library space.
2. In the Operating Systems folder, select the Task Sequences container.
3. Right-click the Task Sequences container and select Create MDT Task Sequence.
