Short List of Reports
Given the multitude of reports available in Configuration Manager 2012, it’s helpful to administrators to get some pointers on what reports to go to first. The following list represents a sampling of the more useful reports for each of the features in Configuration Manager 2012. This list is not intended to be comprehensive, but rather to kick-start the process of exploring the reports.
For inventory, the short list of reports to look at is as follows:
• Count Operating Systems and Service Packs report—Displays the number of computers inventoried by operating system and service pack combinations.
