OperationsManagerAC Database Backup
The ACS database, OperationsManagerAC, stores the security logs that are collected by ACS forwarders. The loss of the OperationsManagerAC database results in the loss of the historical security information.
Given the size of the database, the OperationsManagerAC database should be backed up on a weekly basis. The recommendation is to do a full backup monthly and a differential backup weekly to reduce disk space requirements.
To set up the full and differential backups for the OperationsManagerAC database, execute the following steps:
1. Launch SQL Server Management Studio on the operations database server.
2. Click the Connect button.
3. Expand the Databases folder.
