Restoring an Exchange Database
The steps used to recover an Exchange Server 2010 database using DPM differ depending on if you are trying to restore the database to the original location or to an alternate location. Use the following steps to restore a database to the original location:

This method overwrites an existing production database and therefore may destroy data.
1. While logged on to a computer as a domain user account that is a member of the Exchange Organization Management and Server Management groups, open the Exchange Management Shell (EMS).
2. Next, execute the following command against the targeted database to allow restoring a database from a backup:
Get-MailboxDatabase -Identity <database name> | Set-MailboxDatabase ...
