Using the Migrate Action
The Migrate Virtual Machine Wizard enables the administrator to migrate a virtual machine to another host using a VMM wizard, as follows:
1. Log on to a computer that has the Administrator Console installed using a domain user account that is a member of the VMM Administrator role.
2. Next, open the Administrator Console using either the desktop or Start menu icon and connect to your VMM server.
3. Once the console has loaded, click the VMs and Services icon in the navigation pane to open the VMs and Services workspace.
4. In the VMs and Services workspace, select either the host group, cluster, or host that contains the VM to be migrated.
5. In the results pane, select the virtual machine to migrate, and then click Migrate ...
