Creating a New Server Application Package
An application package is created by using the Sequencer to monitor the installation and setup process for an application and then record the information that is necessary for the application to run in a virtual environment. The following steps are used to create a new server application package:
1. Log on to the system where the Server App-V Sequencer is installed using an account that is a member of the local administrators group.
2. Start the Server App-V Sequencer by clicking on Start, pointing to All Programs, pointing to Microsoft Application Virtualization, and then clicking on Microsoft Application Virtualization Sequencer.
3. At the opening screen, select the option for Create a New Virtual Application ...
